About Beaumont House Leveling

Beaumont House Leveling is a local house leveling and foundation repair service for Beaumont, Jefferson County and the nearby Southeast Texas towns. We work on pier-and-beam houses and slab homes that have moved on the local clay, and every price we give is a written quote after we have seen the house. Call (409) 247-2971.

What we do

Most calls start the same way: a floor that slopes, doors that stick, a crack in the brick or the drywall that keeps getting wider. We come out, shoot the floor levels, look under the house or around the slab, and tell you plainly what has moved and what it will take to put it right. The work itself is house leveling, pier and beam repair, slab repair with pressed pilings or steel piers, crawlspace and floor leveling, drainage correction around the foundation, and written inspections for a house sale.

Where we work

We are based in Beaumont and work across Jefferson, Hardin and Orange counties. Each town has its own page with the details for that area:

How a job runs

  • You call or send the form. Tell us the address and what you have noticed. We do not price a foundation over the phone, because nobody can see the house from there.
  • We come out and look. Floor levels are measured across the whole house, not one room. On a pier-and-beam house we go into the crawlspace; on a slab we walk the perimeter and check the drainage.
  • You get a written quote. It lists what will be done, how many piers or pilings, and the price. It is free, and there is no obligation.
  • The work is done and checked. Levels are shot again at the end, and you get the paperwork for anything that needed a permit or an inspection.

Why houses move here

Beaumont and the towns around it sit on heavy clay that swells when it is wet and shrinks when it dries. Over a run of wet and dry seasons that movement lifts and drops the piers under a raised-floor house and tilts or cracks a slab. It is not a building defect, and it does not stop on its own, which is why a repair here has to reach below the layer of clay that keeps moving. Our guide to foundation repair on Texas clay explains this in plain terms, and the cost page shows what recent jobs have run.
